Anthony is not your typical 11-year old. His passion is not soccer, football, baseball or video games. His passion is Road Racing. Anthony began racing in 2006 and loves it. Anthony lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. Anthony's racing started on PocketBikes. When Anthony was 8-years old he rode a shifter bike (a YSR) for the first time and he was hooked. For his 9th Birthday, Anthony got a 2004 NSR 50R. Towards the end of last season (2008) he got yet another new bike, an NSR 65R. |

In 2009 he'll be saying good-bye to his old friend,
his 4.2hp PocketBike and he'll be focusing on the 50cc, 65cc and 85cc classes aboard
his
Stock NSR 50R and NSR 65R. So far this season Anthony has much more success on his NSR 65R. Last year we struggled a lot to get it tuned, it was a nightmare. Anthony has yet to take a victory in the 85cc class, although, recently he came in 2nd place behind a 150R. This year will perhaps be the last year on the NSR 50R. We are planning to get Anthony an RS 125R by the end of this year, and begin attending Track Days soon thereafter. We are hoping he'll adapt quickly so that he's ready to attend some USGPRU events by the time he turns 12 in May of 2010. |
